MIA

A young and enormously talented band who reflects the life of their town in Germany, MIA consists of five unbelievable electrical charges that caused an unstoppable trend which formed a new genre - Electropunk.

Mieze, Andy, Ingo, Robert and Gunnar are MIA and their live performances have worked to extrovert their music and themselves. Between 1999 and 2001, creative development and formation with label R. O. T resulted in the album 'Blow and Sting Festival' which made into the top 40s chart in Germany. The single 'All Newly' also made it into heavy MTV rotation in Europe.

In 2001, the single 'Factory City' became a dance floor hit in the coolest clubs in Berlin, Paris and New York. Concerts and interests from fans over the years generated media curiosity and soon after, articles on MIA were splashed all over with one media reporting MIA as a new type of youth movement.

2003 saw sold out concerts for MIA in Germany and Austria, and it looks like a repeat for 2004 as MIA gets ready for a new album release, collaboration with Singapore's electro band - Zircon Gov. Pawn Starz, and a world tour.
